This thread is the best argument I have seen for a worldwide common language.

I think it is simple, learn common or possibly be injured or worse.

Requires virtually no cost to stations or operators, and requires no heroic engineering solutions that may, at best, plug a few of the thousand holes.

I know, like the Dodo bird this would probably go the path of the metric system mandate. Clearly superior to any other current system, but the masses pushed back.

Give it enough time and this problem will self-resolve.
