[EAS] Heard of this?

Then there is the Voltaire effect where the EAS, PPM and Voltaire (in that
order) are after the pre-processing of most stations these days. 
Especially if the EAS and PPM/Voltaire are in the processing loops of some
modern processors.

If the station in question is running an aggressive Voltaire setting and
the EAS is before the PPM and Voltaire, the ringing of the Voltaire could
impact proper encoding.

It would be interesting to see if in fact that is the case.
