[EAS] Heard of this?

I sure have run into that before. I know of at least one station that has
their EAS device linked to their trailing PPM Encoder so that the PPM mutes
during EAS activations. We haven't make a big deal out of it because it's
difficult to replicate in a lab situation. I suspect that the
transmission/reception/detection+noise portion causes further complications.
If it were conclusively demonstrated in a lab environment it would at the
very least lead to re-ordering of some processing chains or installation of
PPM mute functions. I suspect that would cause hysteria among some
programmers.
