Bill has that right about Stand and what he did after he moved from Hawaii to the mainland.
As some of us know after Stan Harter passed, his legacy was carried on for a while by Ben Green at what was then called CalEMA.
It is my hope that we can ask what is now called CalOES to re-establish a position that will again send one of their trained comm. people based in Sacto around the state to liaison not only with the EM community, but to help the CA SECC with liaison between our EAS Participants and their local EM warning people.
To quote me, "The day of the emergency is a bad day to meet your local EM people for the first time."
