My response to Mr. Donelan's latest post on the SBE list:

Short answer: Comparing CalFire and CalOES to NOAA/NWS as warning originators is a false equivalency, if your point is using warnings from NWS to support your argument that CalFire or CalOES should do statewide wildfire warnings here in CA. It is not even apples and oranges. More like apples and razor blades.
