We, here in Tucson, are in Monsoon times, but
watching the alerts, it is almost funny.

This evening, my cell phone which, on the last update
apparently had WEA alerts and Amber alerts reset to "on"
went off at 6:44 PM, telling me there was "a Flash Flood
Warning in effect for your area until 6:45PM"

Not exactly useful, whether you believe in polygons or not.

Areas West of town, especially on the Tohono O'odham
reservation (where there is no NWR coverage) have been
getting dozens of SVR and FFW, etc. warnings for the
past week, sometimes half a dozen or more an hour.
