I think the Wall Street Journal said again today that Santa Rosa 
officials are satisfied with Nixle and chose not to use WEA or EAS.

When the hundreds of now homeless residents go looking for them with 
flaming torches, pitchforks, tubs of hot tar and feathers maybe, 
perhaps, they'll think about it some more.

I'm beginning to think that fire sirens are an improvement.  We have 
had warning sirens, best as I can tell, in San Francisco since 1941.
