I was having the exact same thoughts as Rod as I read Gary's post.
Since when does the SECC chair serve at the pleasure of the FCC, and show me, where in the rules, it says that.
Of course also being in Nebraska I am affected by many of the same things that affect our states SECC.
How then is it not a total, and I would presume illegal overreach of the FCC to meddle in state affairs in such a manner as Gary has described.
I find it entirely implausible, that something like this could happen.
One of us, and it could very well be me, but one of us is looking at this from the wrong perspective.
Anyone out there care to be the referee on this?
