What really put me off was the survey circulated by the various state
associations (which appeared to be identical across any number of states.)
It asked for far more information than the FCC had required to be supplied
in the two rule paragraphs.

I decided to file electronically a "paper" submittal which strictly
answered the two questions each station was obligated to answer in each
paragraph and nothing more.

While the survey was convenient and "easy" to complete, the information
gathered beyond the 4 compulsory questions could ultimately be used in
some future proceeding which would adversely impact relay stations and
cable systems.
