We might also speculate about the implications of no-main-studio on radio news.  Certainly folks tend to get together and pool their resources after a disaster.  But it's hard to pool capabilities that no longer exist.  With corporate broadcasters retreating to their head-ends, I'd speculate that traditional local radio news may become almost exclusively the domain of public radio stations (to the extent that they have resources themselves.)

Those of a political bent may grind their teeth at that prospect... although some may also find it useful to be able to demonize "local fake news."
