Don't worry, one of the first actions of the new FCC was to withdraw its
cybersecurity risk reduction white paper. Problem Solved!
" On January 18, 2017, the Public Safety & Homeland Security
Bureau(Bureau) issueda white papertitled "Cybersecurity Risk Reduction"
(White Paper). By this Order, and pursuant to Section 1.113 of the
Commission's rules, the Bureau now sets aside and rescinds the White
Paperand any and all guidance, determinations, andconclusions contained
therein. The White Paperwill have no legal or other effect or meaning
going forward. "
