[EAS] A Giant has fallen

Just wanted you to all know that Don Miller has lost his long fight with
Pancreatic Cancer and past this last week.

 

Don took the place of the late Jimmie Hocutt at Washington State Emergency
Management..He brought a quick grasp of what needed to be done and worked
with the SECC with drive and determination that was, at times, unmatchable.
He goes without saying that Washington States EAS system would never have
achieved what it has without him.    Don retired a few years ago to take
care of more pressing needs.     He touched so many in this work..His
efforts and memory will live on for years, I'm sure.  I am proud to say I
worked with him .A great guy and an inspiration to many.
