A random youtube post of the most recent RMT from DirecTV on
September 27, 2016.  I don't understand why, but people seem to regularly 
post all sorts of things on youtube including EAS tests and alerts from
all over the country.

There are some youtube encoding artifacts at the beginning and end, i.e. 
it speeds up and slows down.

In 2016, the LA County Sheriff's audio quality has greatly improved 
improved, at least via DirecTV.  However it sounds like DirectTV is still 
experiencing the double attention signal with its national feed of the 
RMT.  Since DirecTV has 25 million subscribers, its just unlucky for the 
Los Angeles County sheriff that a lot of people hear him all over the 
country.

More people heard FEMA's NPT announcement, but how many members of the 
public know the name of the FEMA employee that voiced either the english or 
spanish version of the NPT?

You can also find many videos of the September 28, 2016 National Periodic 
Test from around the country; including silence, random songs and rush 
limbaugh.  As I said before, youtube tends to focus on the bad and 
unusual.  There are also several successful NPT videos posted on youtube.
