To make this test valid, I plan on doing absolutely NOTHING for the
test. The whole idea is that the box should know what to do, if I did my
programming correctly.
Now don't get me wrong I did update the firmware of the EAS boxes so
they should properly react to the 00000 code. But after that, in a real
emergency likely no one will be sitting around the box waiting to see
when the first bubble forms (watching the pot).
So my prep for the test is update my programming, (which has been
completed) then some time after the test should have run I'll check the
logs and see how it went.
If it doesn't work as planned then we can see what needs to be done to
correct things.
I guess one thing I do need to check in the next day or so, in the ENDEC
what priority the NPT was given, and correct that as needed.
NOTE: My personal opinion, no test should ever prevent a real emergency
from being transmitted. Thus all test priorities are set very low
(typically 10 or less, since the RMT already has 10 I'll probably set
the NPT to 11).
