Let's not have selective memory. I was a teenage DJ who ripped and read from the wire during the JFK assassination and got ripped to the verge of loosing my part time job. Fond memories cloud realities. BTW if that were a local emergency, I would have had no clue what to do at that time. My job at that moment was to play classical music ( on a rock station ) and sound sad. As much as some lament the so called 'old days' they weren't that different from current days.
