Have been following this thread with interest.  Manufacturers need to be
cautious about identifying (and especially interpreting) requirements for
customers.  Simply put, never rely on a vendor for legal/regulatory counsel
or interpretation.  In any industry.  

We do point LP customers to FCC and other resources.  We'll try to figure
out things together on a wild range of issues.

Having said that, as an EAS vendor, I cannot begin to tell you the amount of
support we provide customers already, even with things that have nothing to
do with EAS...
