All due respect Clay, hogwash. They operate a licensed radio station. And
with it comes the responsibility to know the rules and abide by them
regardless of size or composition.
Just like your driver's license, you and everyone are expected to obey the
Rules of the Road regardless of whether you drive a Smart Car or
Lamborghini. Well, the FCC's rules (among others) are the "Rules of the
Road" for radio. Ignorance, no matter how innocent, is not a defense.
These pints fought tooth and nail with vim and vinegar to get their
license. Now that they have it and realize the real commitment needed,
they're crying. No, I don't feel for them...well maybe a little.
In this day and age of easy ability to find the rules...let alone read
them, no can claim they didn't know something when they fought so hard to
get where they're at.
