"How does your LP-1 or LP-2 facility handle a CAE once the emergency is
resolved?"

The Nevada AMBER Alert Plan provides for the use of the "ADR" Event Code to
cancel AMBER Alert activations. The agency which issued the AMBER Alert
follows the same process for the cancellation message as they did to issue
the AMBER Alert. The cancellation message needs only to say that the agency
has cancelled the AMBER Alert. Stations have the option of carrying the
cancellation message as an EAS activation or having their on-air staff relay
the information with details. The station gets the details from the agency
which issued the AMBER Alert or from the State of Nevada AMBER Alert
website.

Nevada agencies have access to Common Alerting Protocol for AMBER Alerts
because most of our LP stations are no longer staffed 24/7.
