We have reporters at the appropriate command centers and they stay there for the duration of the emergency. They have ENG and SNG links. I am sure LA does the same. We have a consolidated command post where everyone from the mayor on down to various department heads are located. It has permanent media feeds. This varies over the surrounding area. We also, as I am sure is the case in the LA area, have reporters with equipment dispersed over a wide area.
