No, not typically, but it is still a good idea to know the best way to
proceed should a failure occur.
If you recall this was a problem when an LP's box had a power supply
failure in the middle of a test. I forget if it was a RMT or the
national test, I think the latter. So as long as everything is working
there won't be a problem.
Harold, just gave the appropriate way to handle that situation, Abort &
send RWT to verify all boxes return to normal. No pulling of power cords
needed or desired.
That was a problem of the 1822 (specifically the power supply), the
3644's haven't had that issue.
I guess this is just one of those customized items we put into the EAS
handbook.
As the engineers, it is part of our job to expect the unexpected and be
ready to deal with it.
