OK, Tim, that made me chuckle.

Part of the process for this new Handbook is that EAS manufacturers should
have guidance for their users. Following is initial information related to
the DASDEC-II and R189 One-Net platforms. Additional information will be
posted in the next few days at the digitalalertsystems.com and
monroe-electronics.com websites.

For EANs:

--> For any version of software, the DASDEC/OneNet will relay the
EAN are relayed automatically, with no operator intervention.

For NPTs:

--> If you are running v3.0, you will be able to check off that NPTs
are relayed automatically, with no operator intervention.

--> If you are running v2.6, you should review the necessary steps
in the following application note
(http://www.digitalalertsystems.com/pdf/APNDAS-140.pdf), or (if those steps
are properly prepared), you would be able to check off that NPTs are relayed
automatically, with no operator intervention.

--> If you are running earlier versions of software, you really
should be updating your systems.

In any event, I think we should be on the lookout for a notice from the FCC
on what "transmitted immediately" means for an EAN (... kinda "buried the
lead" there ...).

Joe Biden said that regulation will create more jobs. I guess he was right
