I've been recommending VHF TV Antennas.

> They are relatively in-expensive
> Several available at Amazon
> Mounting can be flipped to V-Pol with a minimum of effort
> Can be used with simple mast hardware
> Easy to create a non-penetrating roof mount
> Uses F-Connectors and standard coax.

Always caution users to search for the 'sweet spot' (ie, try various
horizontal locations first)

Anyone have some suggested sources for a directional, vertically polarized
antenna for picking up NOAA Weather radio?  I've been surprised that they
don't seem more readily available...
