[EAS] Canada's New "EAS" Now Online

Ira - The 8 second Canadian attention tone is not an EAS header - these are tones originated by the broadcaster. The Canadian system is completely CAP. In fact, the attention tone is generated in the EAS device.
There are some really interesting differences between the Canadian and US alerting systems from a technology and policy standpoint.
