        And, here is the problem. With a 
        disparity of manufacturers, some of whom
        think their way is the only way ... and
        dismiss any hint that they are not omniscient ...
        it will take a real industry group of the
        regulatory agencies, manufacturers
        and *end-users* to express their needs.

        Industry groups made up mostly of the "usual
        suspects"  ... even though they include 
        manufacturers (with a stake in the process!!!)
        ... can easily discover there are one or two people
        who get very pushy and try to dominate the 
        discussion. This sort of process does not help the
        industry.
