EAS Participants, 

 

The EAS RWT report for September is attached.

 

The RWT for the Alaska Time Zone was not sent on September 15, 2014.

 

FEMA recommends that EAS Participants check all Internet facing devices handling critical broadcast functions, such as command/control/monitoring of broadcast equipment and programming, have current operating system patches to ensure that no such equipment or devices have the Shellshock Bash vulnerability. Check with device manufacturers for the availability of software updates and patches.
