The boxes would need more robust anti-hacking firewalls if they're going
to hang on raw modem connections to use redundant ISP's.

I will say most stations in smaller locations and singltons don't have
mutiple ISP's.

I happen to agree with the redundancy aspect. But don't feel it will gain
traction.  Especially if stations/facilities have load sharing firewalls
and/or routers.

I suppose an EAS box which misses the RWT could poll the server to obtain
(pull) the most current code.
