        That is all well and good, but what is being
        put forth to improve audio and the quality
        of the alert contents?

        The response from most stations is
        not to run EAS alerts.... because they
        sound so bad on the air - but will not
        reach out to make things better.

        How about the management. Do they
        see EAS as a valuable thing to have
        on the air?  Or do they not even 
        think of EAS at all?  <ggg>
