As Barry noted, the Digital Alert Systems DASDEC platform is not impacted by
this certificate issue.  No action is required on the part of DASDEC users.

As a general topic, manufacturers issue periodic software and firmware
updates.  Users (of any brand) should check in with their vendor's website
and monitor lists like this for information about updates.
