[EAS] EAS: Pinging remote computers

A hearty second for Nagios. We use Opsview Core actually, which is a framework built on top of Nagios to make it a bit more user friendly/point-and-click.

Nagios monitors all of our critical IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, and even our ENDECs. It does far more than ping: for example, it makes an HTTP request against our ENDEC and verifies that the ENDEC requests a username and password. Our entire network can be viewed from a dashboard so we can be assured everything is running correctly.

Think of it as AutoPilot for your computers.
