In every license renewal seminar I've ever sat through (and it's been a few, at this point), the advice from the legal beagles has always been: It's better to tell the truth and take the hit, than to lie and take a bigger hit for violating the rules AND lying. The Federal Broadband Commission doesn't look kindly on folks who "misrepresent" in their official filings. I don't remember whether there's a specific question about EAS on the license renewal form, but my gut check says fabricating records or logs is probably not the best approach.
