Thank you Lowell.  After posting my comment I read the information sent about CMAS in prior messages.  It really seems that we need to have the public who uses CMAS know the limitations as others have said already.  I remember when there was first something similar to this in our local area with a broadcaster sending messages from their weather department.  I subscribed then quickly unsubscribed when I realized I would not get any sleep with such messages.  I wonder what percentage of people actually opt in on CMAS?

Don't confuse EAS with CMAS.  CMAS has a severe limitation in the size of the message.  EAS via CAP can carry a very generously sized message.
