Adrienne,
You and I know this and I think they know it, but do not want to do anything about it. Do not know why, just what we get. I do not care if it is EAS, an announcement or whatever, just get me the information to put on the air to communicate with people. As for for calling peoples cell phones, not sure, but seemed to be just an excuse to get rid of us, maybe they were meaning reverse phone call, but that can miss a lot of people.
As you can tell there gets to be a level of frustration at this. I want to be careful because there are people that are trying to get this happening and they are making progress at the state and other areas- but this one area seems to be nothing. I do not want frustration in one area to be detrimental to good things that are happening. I also want to make progress here. I would really like to get broadcast representative involved in the planing and 'boots on the ground' exercises. Have tried before but so far no results.
