Many of us have been pushing for what today is becoming a reality.   

 As engineers we are used to providing technical solutions to a multitude of
problems.    When the history books are written about the development of the
EAS it will become clear that all that those that worked to develop and push
the Common Alerting Protocol as a significant improvement in our nations
public warning systems 'toolbox' really understood the dynamics involved.

We need to thank those that were a part of the Partnership for Public
Warning whose vision provided us all with the blueprint for the future.

Now that we have reached this milestone - our efforts need to shift to
helping everyone understand how to use this new tool. ...ie, 
We ain't done folks.
