[EAS] June 30, 2012- CAP Compliance Deadline

i just posted a short article commemorating today, June 30, 2012 as the CAP compliance deadline on the EAS Forum at [http://eas.radiolists.net/]. While I fully expect grumbling and resistance to the long and painful process of improving public warnings for broadcast and other warning paths, the long term benefits we will see from the Common Alerting Protocol will be worth it if we all work together to build partnerships with warning originators to get them to use CAP messaging as an integral part of emergency response.
