Mike,

A notification was sent out a month ago with this decision. At this time, the RWTs will stop until a permanent solution can be made available.

In the mean time, any and all persons on this list would would like the RWTs to continue, please send a SINGLE email to: IPAWS at dhs.gov with "RWT" in the subject line.

I will address the list again upon development of a permanent solution.

Neil,

Would you know what the reason for the decision to discontinue the IPAWS RWTs is? I think that they are valuable, because they allow stations to definitely confirm that their equipment is receiving the IPAWs feed and correctly decoding the messages, and I was hoping that they would be made permanent.

Who would be the best person to express a desire to have this decision reconsidered to?

Thanks,
Mike
