[EAS] Remote RWT switching

One digit from the 4th column is always used.  I too learned that same 
lesson long ago.

I specifically and intentionally omitted earlier in the discussion the 
remote control **would be capable** of triggering the RWT and forwarding 
messages.  Why?? It's not germane to the the specific question of a 
possible advanced mode of automated operation.

The point about staff knowing how to run the test is well taken and is 
part of our ongoing operator training.  They'll know how to pull up the 
EAS cut in the automation system...or trigger by the remote control. 
With that said, the day to day operation of multiple stations tends to 
exceed the practical limits of human multitasking capability and we need 
technology to assist.

For day to day use, let's have technology take the human error factor 
out of the process however.  Isn't that the whole idea of unattended EAS 
anyway??
