So, demanding a feature is a good idea?

They haven't even gotten the boxes to work correctly yet, let alone
adding things in that are for the .1% of users?

I think the best you're going to get is the source code. I doubt it'd
break type-acceptance, as that's the hardware. The hardware stock does
as it's supposed to out of the box, anything beyond can go through
Sage or DAS QC systems if need be, but talk about adding stress to an
already broken system.
