Part 11 talks about a map book in the state plan. All the state plans I have seen have them.

I would opine that you are an LECC when the majority of local EAS entities are part of the effort, and the SECC knows about it.

I would suggest nailing a cup to the wall first, and then pour in the jello. Seriously, we have been making the case in the BWWG going precisely to the point you bring up below -- that LECC's and SECC's should definitely be part of the overall emergency response picture, and that all warning systems coordinate with their respective emergency response agencies as well as each other. I would even go as far as to say that EAS committees should try to get CMAS people involved.

You and I are definitely on the same page here. I want FEMA to talk to the national group that represents state emergency managers (NEMA) as well the IAEM that represents state and local EM professionals to try to integrate what we do with what they do. It will help everyone, including a public at risk, if that happens.

More walls and more Jello. Coordinating the Jello nailing process will nto be easy, but can be done. CA has been coordinating for years closely with NV. Some CA areas are actually covered by NV EAS entities due to geography/signal issues.
