Attention Group,

This morning during the Los Angeles area R.M.T. (10:24), an F.C.C. field inspector was present at KJLH Compton's Control Room in Inglewood, CA.

He witnessed the successful forward of the R.M.T., asked for the E.A.S. Handbook (which was posted), and reviewed the E.A.S. Logs. All was in order... He did ask about our printed tickets though and was referred to the online web browser based logging of our DASDEC. He seemed surprised at this (like this was the first one he had ever seen), and seemed satisfied and left the premises.

No other inspection activity was undertaken by him...

One thing though, he asked why we were not forwarding our Received R.W.T.'s. This is the first that any of us here (including our F.C.C. Attorney), had heard of this. We were (and are), under the impression that R.W.T.'s do NOT have to be forwarded (though one could on the DASDEC if one so desired). In L.A. we receive no less than four to six R.W.T.'s a week from KFI, KNX and KCBS-FM. Indeed, if we were required to forward these, I believe that not only would it be an "undue burden" upon the Licensee, but a public tune-out factor (i.e.. The "Cry Wolf"syndrome)...

Any observations or comments from the group???

Best,
