[EAS] GMC Continued

It is not a stretch from GMC to CAP.  The discussion that prompted my post
was about GMC and CAP converters and how they would respond.

But...I fear....most have missed the point.

We continue to talk like engineers about IPWAS, CAP, GMC, backbones, PEP,
blah....blah...blah...
 
But we saw the truth last week...the weak link is the agency or agencies
that think they can use the system....

Our part of the system works....we prove that every week and every
month....and what did we learn last week?

>From the horribly distorted audio to the "robust" Lo Band VHF backbone that
failed in the lower 1/3 of Illinois...we learned that government at all
levels is incapable of initiating the system we maintain for them!

A fish rots from the head down and, man, I can smell a stink!
