[EAS] Repeating the original question..

Interesting on Form 1 that they don't appear to care about AM Day-Night
issues. For example, I have one station I care for that has a different day
and night site, there is only a box for one.

The Commish has never cared about night coverage of the PEP's (which in most
cases is considerably different if not less that daytime). Would have
been really interesting if they had scheduled the EASNT for 12 hours later.
I doubt that using this sample method will yield much.

Then again, there was never any specific leadership, rules, funding etc etc.
for the distribution of the outputs of PEP's Someone (with little
understanding of the matter) concluded that these stations covered the
national like a blanket day and night.

Amazing how much people learn about a topic with a little pressure to learn.

I have posed this question to the FCC on the link on their EAS page. If I
get an answer, I'll let you know. I believe others may have asked about this
as well -- stating that if we are trying to smoke out PEP coverage issues,
we need to know the geo coordinates of where the off air receivers are.
