My brother lives in Joplin--he's ok but house apparently
gone.

Anyway, Zimmer Broadcasting is about 300 feet from the motel
I stay at when I'm out there.  Right by the Food for Less on
32nd st. Have a hefty STL tower & back-up geni at studio.

Cell phones & regular phones out, but a You-tube video
--showing someone driving around town after the storm--had
Zimmer's news talk KZRG loud and clear, reading off
emergency info. 

BTW--local Zimmer cluster under FCC's watch for "not doing
EEO paperwork properly...."

Washington doesn't give a... about anything out side the
beltway unless it means money or power for them.
