The FCC doesn't care how you define a week other than 7 days. They know
companies do this differently so they aren't going to define it for you.
What they care about is that YOU have a schedule and follow it consistently.
Weekly log checks get interesting when the LP stations follow different
calendars, but as long as you are consistent and your records are accurate,
the FCC doesn't care how you schedule your week.

Another way some of us do it is simple logic.
FCC says "...at least once a week..."
No place does the FCC define week i.e. Sunday through Saturday, Monday
through Sunday, Wednesday through Tuesday. I happen to use Monday through
Sunday, but others differ completely legally.
Since the week is not defined by specific days, we fall back on the
definition of week, i.e. 7 days.
Ergo, once a week means once every 7 days.
