Greetings, fellow EAS Stakeholders:

The EAS Forum subscription list is growing daily.

Since I do know some of the people who have signed up, I thought I'd give everyone information about who else is on here.

The people on this list come from a wide range of EAS involvement. Here are the ones I can identify at this time:

- FEMA/DHS
- National Weather Service
- FCC field office
- LECC
- SECC
- Radio people who will have to implement CAP-EAS
	- Veterans of EBS and EAS
	- newcomers to EAS
- TV people who will have to implement CAP-EAS
	- Veterans of EBS and EAS
	- newcomers to EAS
- Trade publications
- EAS equipment vendors
- NASBA and some state broadcaster associations

With the wide range of list members and their wide range of experiences and expertise, if you have a question on CAP-EAS, chances are excellent that you will get a prompt, accurate answer.

If you want to answer questions on this list, please take into account your audience and its wide range of experience. Our attitude on this list is that we expect many questions that to some of us may appear to be very basic. However, to people just joining us as EAS stakeholders, they have not lived through all that has brought us to this point, and quite likely will have very basic questions.

One other thing. The Broadcast Warning Working Group (BWWG) who hosts this list just posted a Part 11 Wish List document on the EAS Forum website:

http://eas.radiolists.net/info/part11.html

We hope you take a look at this document and then come here and talk about what you want to see in a revised Part 11 on this list.

We will archive your Part 11 suggestions and use them as resources to write Comments for the expected FCC Notice of Proposed Rulemaking.

Finally, this is a moderated list. If a posting goes off topic or takes on a character that is less than professional, we will step in.

Regards,
