[EAS] New posting on the EAS Forum website: Early Holiday Present: FEMA Course Available Now for Online IPAWS Training

Assurance of funding will, as Ed points out, be vital, but now that this course has been released online, anyone can go through the study material and take an official test that certifies successful completion. I went through the first module of the course yesterday and was happy to see that while the IPAWS message that all alerting systems are supported by CAP messaging, they put a good emphasis on the local and state EAS components we are involved with. Considering where the IPAWS program started from (Federal level only) this is real progress.
