        If the goal is to inform viewers, would you
        not rather *someone* be visible than the
        EAS slate?

        Perhaps a rotation could be set up, with
        each local news station getting a turn?

        I'm just wondering if there is a way to
        solve the problem better ... at least
        until new tech comes on line.
