[EAS] Earthquake

I wished I had a dollar for every time someone on the Right-Coast told me
they would not want to live out here on the Left-Coast because ....You have
earthquakes. Add that to the number of times I reminded them that no-one
immune from them.

Geology is a funny subject - If it did not take place in your
lifetime...many want to twist the facts to suit them.....    An example of
this is Mt St Helens.   Now everyone thinks that all volcano's 'blow up'
like St Helens did.

The big, historic. quakes in South Carolina and New Madrid are soon
forgotten and/or dismissed in the minds of many.  Meanwhile the building
codes in those areas are such that the impact of these quake are magnified
due to complacency and  an attitude of it won't happen to me.

Many on the Left-Coast are grinning and shaking their head.

You do have earthquake bracing on your racks don't you ?
