Clay,

Sorry. I just had to ask. What evidence do you have that CAP-to-EAS converters will not be able to handle a "Governor's Must Carry Message"? For that matter, what evidence do you have that only "Dasdec and Endec [sic]" will be able to handle a "Governor's Must Carry Message"?

Darryl

Ira -

I fully understand and support your position....Especially in light of the
fact that we don't have a clue what the FCC is going to do. The
'wild-card' is GMC, or Governor Must Carry. This could render the CAP
Converters useless. We have 7 'converters' in use here in Washington State
where we have been using CAP since last fall. We know that those units may
well become door-stops. In this state the Dasdec and Endec are the units
that are being purchased, for the reasons you state.

Regards,

Clay Freinwald
