The Broadcast Warning Working Group wants to welcome our latest subscribers. The range of EAS stakeholders who have subscribed now includes public safety, law enforcement, emergency management, government (local, state and federal), EAS equipment vendors, as well as broadcasters.
If you are new to the site, or have been subscribed for a while and have not looked at the EAS Forum website recently [ http://eas.radiolists.net/ ] , here are three highlights you may want to look at:
3/31/11-_Two_California_Operational_Areas_Build_Cooperation_with_EMs
3/30/11-_Digital_Alert_Systems_and_Comlabs_announce_an_alliance.
3/18/11-_Petition_for_Partial_Reconsideration_Filed_by_BWWG
While we do moderate the site, we are doing so with an open mind to new ideas and different points of view. The transition to CAP-Enhanced EAS is new ground for all of us. In this effort we are all teachers and students.
If you have any suggestions on how to improve the site or on how the BWWG can be a better stakeholder resource for the CAP-EAS transition, please let us know.
We hope more stakeholders will join us. If you find the site and the list server useful, please tell your colleagues.
Thanks for subscribing,
The Broadcast Warning Working Group
