Yes, but you're trying to be too precise and are glossing over the concept. If you prefer an EAS box that arrives from the factory fully programmed and with little or no re-programming capability in the field such as the GR box, it may be easy to use but impossible to adapt to any changes without sending it back to the factory for reprogramming. That was all I mean't by my shorthand statement. And its why it is my least liked EAS product.

Ira - Two thoughts come to mind -
1 - Nothing is future proof for we cannot see the future.
2 - Nothing is Idiot Proof for there are an endless supply of them.
